well, when do you cut? :) 

like after a certain situation, at a certain time, certain day, or just when you get the urge?

well i started when i was about 12 and since then on and off really.

well it’s hard to really prevent scarring, other than the obvious which is dont cut.
but it will scar alot worse if it gets infected, so keep the wound clean, use a clean/sterilised blade, don’t irritate the wound, don’t pick at it whilst it’s healing, give it air, but at the same time don’t let bits of dirt get in it, keep a bandage over it and wash it gently with warm water :)

or not cutting (or whatever you do) so deep (as much), :).
